Operating system is the only exception to this, it is user friendly interface designed to allow you access all the other files and software stored in your PC.

Computer software can only operate on a computer if that computer has system like minimum processor speed, RAM, hard drive and a supported operating system.

Computer software and computer hardware both are developed continuously with excellent components and programs becoming launched all the time. Generally the development of hardware is focused on creating more compact components and faster through the utilization of new technology.
